Everything you need to get started with Plinky.
Getting started
Create a snippet
Click the + button or press ⌘N, give it a name, a trigger, and your text.
Expand a snippet
Type your trigger — e.g. :email — then press Space or Return.
Edit a snippet
Select it from the sidebar and click Edit in the detail panel.
Triggers
Prefix
Every trigger starts with :. Change it in Settings → General.
Characters
Trigger bodies use letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores only.
Expansion
Triggers expand on Space, Return, Tab, or any punctuation character.
Keyboard shortcuts
New snippet⌘N
Quick Insert⌘⇧Space
Add selection to Plinky⌘⇧A
Settings⌘,
